The IoPP Chapters of MichiganStateUniversity,

Michiganand West MichiganInvite You to Participate in the 3rd Annual Joint IoPP

 EGG DROP CONTEST!



WHEN:  November 6TH

     Registration starts:  4:30

    Building of packages starts:  5:00

      Judging of the packages starts:  5:30

         Dropping of the packages starts:  5:40

                     Guest Speaker GENERAL MILLS:  6:00  Followed by networking reception and Pizza

WHERE:  School of Packaging, MichiganState University

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE:  MSU Students, Members of the Packaging Industry, and IoPP Members

ENTRANCE FEE:  $2 per team (please bring exact change)

 

All the packaging materials will be provided by sponsoring companies.  All you need to bring is your creativity!  Contestants will be asked to design and build a protective package system that will prevent damage to an egg from a 16’ 2”impact.

 

GIFT CARD PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED!

SPECIAL PRIZE FOR THE MOST SUSTAINABLE AND THE MESSIEST!

Notes from IOPP Board Meeting 11-28-07

Location: BD's Mongolian BBQ, Royal Oak

It was decided that we needed to personally contact all members by phone. I will send a list of all members to John and he will break the list down into 7 parts for the board members to contact. Brian will put together a short survey & script for us to use. Kevin will work on Securing a Professor for the January Event. I will give the updated officer info on the Web page and set up a meeting for Joe and I to meet the guy who is setting up the web site. Bret will negotiate with National to get $20/member as an operating budget
